Description: LAND ROVER DEFENDER |
|
The first Land Rover Defender in history with the 110 prefix appeared back in 1956, and in 1983 the model became known as the 110 Station Wagon. It is based on the original 90 and is a larger version with additional doors and seats. In 2012, the model has undergone another upgrade. Under its hood is a more modern, but no less simple and reliable power unit, and the interior has retained its laconic design and overly vertical landing. As for the list of options, then, of course, it is wide by the standards of a utilitarian SUV. The appearance deserves special attention, which has practically not undergone any changes since 1983. The car retained its chopped quadrant shape, steel power bumpers and an almost perpendicular windshield. Also striking are the large round headlights with glasses with tiny direction indicators, unusual rear glazing and a spare wheel suspended from the fifth door.
Until the end of production in 2016, Defender did not disgrace the monocoque body - it has always been a real frame SUV. Therefore, even in our 2012 car, it is based on a steel frame, which is called "ladder" because of the external similarity.
